spring pics

The boys are pretty much consumed with lacrosse this spring, and Zippy is only spectating 'til he can play next year in third grade. I will get photos of them in action and post soon since it is all they do lately. First thing in the morning before school, they are tossing the ball around. After chores in the afternoon, they head right out to toss the ball around some more. Friends come over, and they toss the ball around. They built a make-shift goal last weekend, and Zippy bought himself a set of pads with his birthday money so they can play with a bit more contact. #1's games were cancelled AGAIN last weekend b/c of rain, and he cried. He has only had one game so far this season, his first ever, and he scored! Thank goodness the NCAA final tourney is in Baltimore rather than at Gillette Stadium in MA where he hoped it would be or he would have done his best to drag us all down there for the semi-finals.

And then there are the girls... also playing lots of toss with their little lax sticks and being trained by their big bro's. Cupcake will be one rockin' lax player by the time she can play, but she'll be playing like a boy thanks to her early training which means she'll spend the whole time in the penalty box since there is no checking allowed in girls' lax.

Princess Eee was here for a bit and now is back in AZ for a spell again and having a blast. She fits with them like a puzzle piece should and everything is going swimmingly here at home too. Here she is in Flagstaff with her bio sis and bio sis's little sis who is close to Princess Eee's age:

Meanwhile back at home...The Spark is going to be a flower girl in my cousin's wedding this summer, and she loves her flower girl dress. Here she is making sure it is good for twirling:
