Went for a walk

Tonight after dinner, just up the road from our house. The tourists are all up here looking at the lovely lupine in bloom, so we hit a lesser known path to smell the flowers and take in the views. (And it is a beautiful view lot for which J is hopefully getting the listing soon.) Ticks and black flies be damned! It was gorgeous, smelled great, and we only brought home four ticks and about 75 fresh black fly bites.

How did my tiny baby boy grow up to be a handsome tween already?! Only six more days til he is officially a middle schooler.

Yeah, okay, it'd be nice to build a house here:

The boys never look happy when squinting, but they really were having a good time.

Tasty lookin' kids. The flies are ebbing here a little, I think. Maybe. Big bday party for Lily friday--wish you could come down!
