Wednesday was new cast day. Here is Princess Eee in between casts:

The bones shifted a bit which is okay since she is so young and the breaks were above the growth plate. Dr. said that there will be a little lump where the bones are off a little bit, but that in about 6 months her body will have taken care of it and the bones will be right. He said if Princess Eee was twelve instead of four, he'd do something else to fix it, but that at four years old, a kids' body will take care of it without extra help. So, three more weeks in the new, shorter cast and then, voila, all better. She really wanted a pink cast and our dinky hospital only has white, so I promised I'd paint it pink. Hope to do that tonight. And she skied in her lesson this morning with no problem. Yippie!! Now we can all go to the mountain again.

That's the best "100" I've ever seen!
Thinking of you and your stir-craziness and the one who eats and the one who doesn't...I recognize that teeth-gritting EEE! Hope getting the cast redone helps, and you can be outside more.
Mine feel the need to eat ANYTIME THEY SEE ME STANDING IN THE KITCHEN.
