Still waiting...

I guess I could title every single post and update from the last two years the same thing. Still waiting. Only now we are still waiting x 2.

On Monday an article from Prensa Libre, a big newspaper in Gaute, was posted that said all in-process cases are on hold for at least a month while they are all re-reveiwed with another birthmother interview and all attorneys must present their cases again, etc, etc. Our agency is saying that this most likely does not effect our case since we are no longer being processed through the regular adoption system. They are still hopeful that we will get a resolution about Ali in the next 10 business days. The last time we were told 10-15 business days, the court official met with the agency contact about our case on day 8 and now we are on day 6, so I am starting to feel like we could hear any day now.

And then there's China... We have a nice little travel group forming of families who all sent dossiers to China in March. It should be a fun trip with other people bringing "extra" family members too. Pretty much all of our potential travel mates are thinking we should hear from the CCAA with the next step, the Letter of Seeking Confirmation, very soon and very possibly in May. That would = travel in July.

So May could be a big month for news and finally some celebrating and a much better idea about travel plans. And July could be a total blur with two international trips and two toddlers coming home!
