Kindergarden Graduation

First of all, I've been thinking about a nickname overhaul for awhile now, and I think it is time to at least change #2's alias. One day in the car about a year ago he said to us out of the blue, "I want you to call me Zippy!" He never really mentioned it again, but we bring it up once in awhile. I like that better than #2 which has always sounded too second place for this beautiful little guy. So from here on #2 will be known as Zippy in blogland.

And now back to the point...Zippy graduated from Kindergarden last night. It was technically called Extended Day since in the last year of his Montessori school, the big kids (5-6 y.o.'s) stay from 9-3 and do their serious learning work in the afternoons. This was his 5th year at the school and his teacher wrote on his diploma, "I am so happy to have loved you." Awwww. Today is his (and The Spark's) last day of school with #1 (nickname overhaul coming soon for that one) rounding out the last week before summer officially begins this Friday.
