Ali's birthday cake last night with the birthday girl in absentia. What do you think we all wished for?!?!

#2 beaming for the camera.

Last weekend's time-with-Mom activity. Don't sneeze!

Our resident gymnast.

Thanks, Madison M. for the cool shoes!

"I really like it here!"

Those are some highlights from the last week. That and #1 got a retainer which when you are 8 is very exciting! Although he was much less excited about it last night when his mouth hurt so he couldn't sleep. Now if he can manage not to lose it before he outgrows it, he'll stay out of debt!
And for the people who argue that kids are easier than dogs/dogs are harder to take care of than kids, I have 4 words for you. Drop Off Vet Appointments! We could not come up with a time that we could get Iker to the vet for a very sore leg/foot, so they said we can drop him off in the morning and pick him up after the appointment. How cool is that?! If only the pediatrician would offer that same service, we'd be all set.
Guatemala update: Ali's birthmom did apply for a new ID/cedula yesterday. So we are on the right track. We've been told it could be anywhere from 2-15 days to issue her a new one. Not too bad for Guatemala.
