First day of Kindergarden for The Spark and of pre-school for Cupcake:

Last Friday at Fenway Park... Zippy's first Red Sox game.

Okay so it's not Hillary or Janet, but the deputy chief of something at USCIS in Washington just called me! He knew about the letters. He was very nice and apologetic for all we've been through, and he wanted us to have his phone number so that we can get quicker responses to any questions we have than we get from the Embassy. He said that his office will be working on this case with the Embassy to ensure that it is done right and as quickly as possible. He feels confident that although it is a very complicated case, we can overcome the issues.(!) We are trying to get a copy of our rebuttal complete with exhibits to his office asap, so they can see how all the issues have been addressed and not make us waste any more time. This could be GOOD!
UPDATE: So it wasn't the letters after all, but still someone big and important wants to help. Our agency has a contact that passed our info along so not the letters. But those all still might even get the attention of someone even higher up. We'll keep pushing til Ali is safe at home.
And the first day of school for the girls was great. I even left Cupcake there for about 40 minutes and she didn't cry the whole time. And she wanted to stay and play after I got back, so we stayed together through their little toddler lunchtime.

OH YEAH! OH YEAH!
So glad to hear this!
I saw the news piece. That was so cool to see a living, breathing couple to go with your names.
You are still in my prayers.
Cheering you on,
Julie
Ohhhh, I was waiting to read good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is terrible that it takes going all the way to the top to get something taken care of, isn't it? Something that could have been solved a long time ago. Precious months Ali could have spent at home with HER FAMILY!!!!
So happy. Keep us posted.
Laura
Yeah!! Let's hope this is the ticket you need to get your precious girl home!

Praying THIS will help you bring Alli home!
