And the not-good-news update from Guate: the resolution from the court that needs to be submitted to get Ali a new birth certificate was not certified. Our attorney applied for a certified copy since only a certified copy would be accepted anywhere by anyone, but the court messed up and gave him a plain copy. And of course the court is closed until January 15th. So we wait again knowing that our case is not moving forward until sometime after Jan. 15th. I wonder if any step from here to the end will go smoothly?!
