#1

Here is a bragging post about our talented, beautiful, driven, relentless, obstreperous first-born child. Get this kid on a snowboard, and all is right with his world, and therefore, ours. The coaches where he is riding this winter have been talking about him and discussing moving him up a notch part-time. He loves the other guys in his current group but is very excited about riding with some more experienced & better riders. He entered another freestyle competition today and looked great on the hits. He didn't place because the age group was rather large, and the kids who won were teenagers. With a bit of web surfing you can catch a glimpse of him in the video and there's a great still photo on the mountain's website today too.

For the video, it should open right to the video list, so click on the one most of the way down that says LS #2- Snowboarders. He is wearing a red hoodie, but he's the 2nd guy you'll see wearing red. (His helmet is black; the other guy in red's helmet is camo I think.) His clip is right at the 59 second mark on the video's counter. Then the still photo is under the Daily Park Photos tab, and it's the top one- again in the red sweatshirt, black helmet.

He is so much easier to get along with when he's happy and expending as much physical activity as possible doing something that he loves. Thank you Waterville Valley Black and Blue Trail Smashers!
